The move from Boston, MA, to Santa Fe, NM was an integral part of Hannah Elise Bowman's journey as a mixed media fine artist, bringing about many changes in her life that enabled the creation of a series of emotionally raw pieces that are leaving viewers in awe. “The places I go when I draw are my own. The places one of my drawings takes someone else belong solely to that person.” She employs pens, acrylic ink and water soluble graphite in her drawings. Her signature abstract landscapes and expanses are comprised of intricate line work and careful planning which often begin as a singular word she's contemplated for months.
